Two rivals from the Sydney left slugging it out on environment policy is not an edifying spectacle. We could sit by as mere spectators if it wasn’t so serious. Albo’s visceral loathing of the Greens as well as his reticence to give Plibersek a ‘win’ is highly problematic.

Environment Minister Tanya Plibersek has refused to shed more light on her controversial decision to block a Regis Resources gold mine near Orange in New South Wales.
