While Australia certainly has its climate deniers, they are not in roles of such significance as someone like Florida Governor Ron de Santis. His refusal to take climate change seriously amounts to culpability, while his rival in the Denial Stakes, Donald Trump, poses an even more dire threat. We never want our politics to be so broken that we find ourselves in a similar position. With Dutton, we’re not in the best position.
