There is so much to dislike about the Hancock family, and mother/offspring relations are only a very small part of it. Failure to rehabilitate mine sites where dangerous asbestos waits to be mobilised, unwillingness to work in concert with traditional owners (it was Gina’s dad Lang Hancock who wanted to poison the ‘problem’ away) and wanting to cut costs by having the roads upgraded on the public purse are some of the reasons.
