The Anthropocene Epoch is well and truly upon us. The consequences of our reshaping the earth’s systems are so far-reaching that we are slow to build up the full picture. With the lag effect in reducing nutrient into the oceans and carbon into the atmosphere, we’re in for a rough ride. And with global politics as they are, it will be so much rougher than it need be.
